Meet the Team at Niles Family Dentistry
Ellie is originally from California and moved to Colorado in her elementary years. As an adult, Ellie was lucky enough to travel living on both the East & West Coast, shortly after moving back to Colorado she found her forever Dental home with Dr. Niles! Ellie attended Front Range Community College in Westminster, CO and graduated with an Associate’s Degree of Applied Science focusing on Accounting in May 2010. She has been in the Dental field since 2000 having worked at an FQHC facility and is a member of AAPC; Ellie stays current on Dental Billing & Coding with Medical cross coding, working with your insurance carrier to solve any coverage or financial issues, providing coordination services as a liaison. Ellie loves using her vast knowledge of dentistry and dental insurance to assist patients. She is always ready and willing to help and is an invaluable asset to our Team. When not in the office Ellie enjoys outdoor pursuits such as running, camping, & gardening to name a few. Ellie resides in Longmont with 4 of her 6 amazing children & has 2 beautiful grandchildren!
Janelle is the newest member to the Niles team joining the practice in 2019. Janelle comes with over 15 years of successful dental experience. Working in both the administrative and clinical side of dentistry her wide array of knowledge is invaluable. She has an Associate of Arts degree and is CDA/Certified Dental Assistant. You can find Janelle greeting patients in the front office and assisting the clinical side of the practice when needed. A compassionate and self-driven professional, Janelle’s main objective is patient satisfaction and is here to answer any questions you might have regarding your insurance and dental treatment. Janelle and her fiancé, Scott both from Missouri live in Boulder and enjoy the abundance that Colorado has to offer. They have a passion for traveling, hiking, camping, hot springs and enjoy spending quality time with family and friends.
Linda has been a wonderful asset to Dr. Niles’ team since the very beginning, having worked with Dr. Niles for 8+ years. She has worked as a dental assistant since the 70’s. You will most likely see Linda on Fridays here at the office. In her spare time, she enjoys gem and mineral collecting, gardening, crafting, and spending time with family and friends.
Jo joined Dr. Niles’ dental team in 2017 and has been working as an EDDA (Expanded Duty Dental Assistant) since 1995. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, especially aesthetic dentistry. She’s passionate about changing the way a person feels about their smile- allowing them to smile with confidence. She’s been with her wonderful husband John for over 8 years. They love going on long motorcycle rides and doing motorcycle rallies all over the US. She enjoys the outdoors and spends her spare time hunting, fishing, canoeing and 4 wheelin’. She enjoys beach vacations and spending time with her friends and family.
Chelsea is a Wisconsin native who moved to Colorado in April of 2013. Upon moving to Colorado, she practiced at an office in downtown Boulder for 1 year before finding her forever home with Dr. Niles. Chelsea attended dental hygiene school at Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire, WI and graduated with an Associate’s degree of Applied Science in May of 2012. She takes pride in her work and loves to educate each patient on how to achieve a healthy mouth with good home care and diet. Chelsea likes to stay up-to-date on the latest technology and products and enjoys learning new things about dentistry on a daily basis. One of her biggest priorities is to build a lasting, trusting relationship with all of her patients. Outside of work, Chelsea enjoys exploring Colorado and traveling as often as possible. You can usually find her hiking, camping, practicing Muay Thai, kickboxing and yoga, and working on her house. She also loves cheering on her favorite football team, the Green Bay Packers! (This is the only thing she and Dr. Niles disagree on!)
Kim Kaufman is a dental hygienist with a diverse history in patient care. With 8 years Army service, she trained and served as a combat medic and EMT. She followed with earning her Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy in 1997. As a veteran, she cared for veterans at the VA Hospital in Tucson, Arizona. In 2009, she earned her Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from Pima Communty College in Tucson, and has since worked for independent dental practices. Monthly since 2010, she dedicates a day to provide dental care at the Denver Rescue Mission. While not at the office, Kim can be found spending time with her family, kickboxing, gardening, baking, skiing, or reading a good book.
